Watsons were fancy!

Watson Armorial Bearings “Armorial Bearings” such as that illustrated here, would be what might appear on a shield or coat of arms for a Scottish Clan. Specifically, the image at left are those of Watson, Earl of Rockingham, described in typical coats of arms talk as:  “Argent, on a chevron azure between three martlets sable as many crescents or.”

Clan Motto: “Mea Gloria Fides” in Latin, translates as “Trust is My Renown”
